Greece and Israel built an alliance because Turkish imperialism targets Greece, Cyprus, and Israel.

Στην παρέμβασή μου στο OPEN έθεσα ένα ζήτημα που θεωρώ θεμελιώδες για την εθνική μας ασφάλεια: η Ελλάδα δεν μπορεί να αντιμετωπίζει την τουρκική απειλή μόνο με εξοπλιστικά προγράμματα. Χρειάζεται εθνικό σχέδιο, εθνικό φρόνημα, κατάλληλα εκπαιδευμένο προσωπικό και στρατηγική.

Η Ελλάδα άρχισε να ενισχύει στρατιωτικά τα νησιά του Αιγαίου όταν η Τουρκία άρχισε να κλιμακώνει την απειλή. Μετά την εισβολή στην Κύπρο, η Άγκυρα συγκρότησε τη Στρατιά του Αιγαίου και ανέπτυξε απέναντι από τα ελληνικά νησιά ισχυρές στρατιωτικές και αποβατικές δυνάμεις.

Τι έπρεπε να κάνει η Ελλάδα; Να μείνει με σταυρωμένα τα χέρια;

Γι’ αυτό και επιμένω: πρέπει να δημιουργήσουμε έναν «οπλισμένο χάρτη» της τουρκικής απειλής, στον οποίο θα αποτυπώνονται οι στρατιωτικές, ναυτικές και αεροπορικές δυνάμεις που έχει αναπτύξει η Τουρκία από τον Έβρο μέχρι το Καστελόριζο.

Ο χάρτης αυτός πρέπει να φτάσει στους ευρωβουλευτές, στις κυβερνήσεις των χωρών του ΝΑΤΟ και της Ευρωπαϊκής Ένωσης, αλλά και στις χώρες που διατηρούν στενές σχέσεις με την Τουρκία.

Η ερώτηση είναι απλή: Απέναντι σε ποιον έχουν αναπτυχθεί όλες αυτές οι επιθετικές δυνάμεις;

Το ίδιο ισχύει για το Καστελόριζο. Η Τουρκία επιμένει ότι το νησί βρίσκεται μόλις δύο χιλιόμετρα από τις τουρκικές ακτές. Ας αντιστρέψουμε επιτέλους το επιχείρημα: γιατί λέμε ότι το Καστελόριζο απέχει δύο χιλιόμετρα από την Τουρκία και όχι ότι η Τουρκία απέχει δύο χιλιόμετρα από το Καστελόριζο;

Η παρουσία του πρωθυπουργού στο Καστελόριζο ήταν ένα σαφές μήνυμα και πρέπει να αποτελέσει μόνο την αρχή. Το νησί χρειάζεται διαρκή ελληνική παρουσία, στήριξη, συγκοινωνιακή σύνδεση και ουσιαστική ενίσχυση.

Παράλληλα, η Ελλάδα διαθέτει ένα τεράστιο όπλο το οποίο δεν έχει αξιοποιήσει όσο πρέπει: τον Ελληνισμό του εξωτερικού. Εκατομμύρια Έλληνες, άνθρωποι με υψηλό επίπεδο μόρφωσης, πανεπιστημιακοί, επιστήμονες και επαγγελματίες μπορούν να μεταφέρουν τις ελληνικές θέσεις διεθνώς. Χρειάζονται όμως σχέδιο, συντονισμό και έναν σαφή οδοδείκτη από την ελληνική πολιτεία.

Και πάνω απ’ όλα πρέπει να θυμόμαστε κάτι:

Τα όπλα από μόνα τους δεν αρκούν. Πρώτα είναι η ψυχή και το εθνικό φρόνημα. Μετά έρχονται τα οπλικά συστήματα.

Η προστασία της εθνικής κυριαρχίας απαιτεί ισχυρές Ένοπλες Δυνάμεις, αλλά απαιτεί πρωτίστως μια χώρα που γνωρίζει τι θέλει, τι υπερασπίζεται και πώς θα το υπερασπιστεί.

@FranceskAlbs Unfortunately Dutch police is notorious for this behaviour, often leading into the death of the suspect/arrested person: 78 people died since 2016. The problem is that none gets really punished as the "independent" investigative unit is composed by ex cops!
