One year ago today, I left the Big Brother house.
I walked out demoralised. But my family, my friends and my amazing Faithfuls helped me pick myself back up, and I started building.
In one year, I've worked with some of the biggest brands in Nigeria. I've hosted charity events that touched hundreds of lives across Nigeria, Liberia and Ghana. I host my own TV segment, Ask Dr. Faith. I launched my YouTube series, The Checkup. I even learnt to dance (a bit 😄). And I've learned a great deal about myself and what it means to be an imperfect human.
My story is proof that even at the worst moment of your life, you can spring back and make something of it.
To everyone who has been on this journey with me: YouTuber Faith, TV host Faith, event host Faith, actor Faith, influencer Faith, Dr. Faith. You've seen every phase of me, and you're still here. Thank you for always having my back.
The next chapter is going to be something else. I'm super excited.
With love, from Faith 💜
Exactly one year ago, on the 2nd of October 2025, Dr. Faith Adewale was disqualified from BBNaija 10/10. 😢💜💜👑
I had just returned from campaigning for votes on his behalf with his causing when the issue with Sultana erupted. By then, the internet was already boiling over, calls for disqualification, demands to revoke his medical license, an avalanche of judgment within hours.
Honestly, that remains one of the most painful experiences I've ever had as a fan and promoter of this show. I couldn't sleep that night, the weight of it sat heavy on me. Meanwhile, Dr. Faith, somehow, found peace enough to order shawarma and enjoy his evening, a small reminder that sometimes the people closest to the storm carry more composure than those of us watching from outside.
But that's the beauty of it all, there is truly life after BBNaija. And my all-time favorite, Dr. Faith Adewale, the Olori Ebi of the Adewale dynasty, is now basking in God's grace, landing gigs, securing brand deals, and excelling academically, proof that one moment, however painful, was never the full story.
I will forever love and support you, Dr. @faith_adewale_ . One year later, and this journey only continues to inspire me. 🙏💜💜👑

I remember Pastor Chris would teach us to keep away from these poisonous fruits especially the GMOs... Pastor Chris said they're preserving the apple at the cost of preserving your life, the fruits you're taking was designed to last longer than you.
Ẹlẹ́ran With Style: Meet Akeem, The Fashionista Graduate Meat Seller
At Camp Junction, Abeokuta, Ogun State, a Business Administration graduate stands out from the crowd, dressed with the confidence of an office executive.
By day, Akeem Muraina looks ready for the boardroom. But instead of heading to an office, he resumes daily at his meat stand.
Akeem is a meat seller, a trade popularly known as ‘Ẹlẹ́ran,’ in Nigeria’s South-West region. But he gives it a trendy lift.
I posted yesterday on why a Nigerian will have 30million naira and instead of venturing into business here, he decides to japa just to start from nothing.
It doesn’t sit well with me.
However, after reading many comments, i decided to take cognizance of a menace in Nigerian business set up. It is not insecurity nor government policies, it is UNTRUSTWORTHY NIGERIAN EMPLOYEES.
Prince Isaac Fayose once lamented about how he had to close down his Amala joint business because his staff were brutally dishonest
We have a morally bankrupt human capital base.
The level of staff theft many infant businesses face in Nigeria is extremely high.
I know a guy who opened a restaurant last year but shut it down this year.
Guess the problem?
It wasn’t because people stopped eating food.
Nigeria’s population didn’t suddenly reduce.
It wasn’t even because the cost of ingredients became unbearable.
Not really because of fuel price inflation either.
His cooks were the problem.
They would secretly bring their own rice, meat, and other cooking ingredients into the kitchen.
They would prepare the food and serve it to customers.
This guy saw customers trooping into his restaurant every day, yet his bank account wasn’t growing.
His staff had secretly created their own restaurant inside his restaurant
During stock audits, all the food items would still be complete because they weren’t stealing his ingredients.
They were simply using his kitchen, his tables, his chairs, his electricity, his gas, and his customers to run their own business.
So while sales appeared to be booming, his revenue remained flat.
The secret was eventually exposed when the staff had a disagreement among themselves
The owner became so frustrated that he shut down the restaurant just to protect his peace of mind and keep his blood pressure from rising
Today, those same staff are probably unemployed and blaming the Federal Government for not providing jobs.
Many Nigerians prefer leaving their money idle in the bank rather than investing in a physical business.
They are trying to avoid unnecessary high blood pressure.
Stop stealing from your employer.
If the salary is below your expectations, resign, find another job, or start your own business.
Destroying someone else’s business won’t build yours.

an important read
“Nigeria's potential is real.
But potential is not destiny. Potential can rot. Potential can relocate. Potential can become resentment if it is never given structure, opportunity, security, justice.
Life is very hard for the average Nigerian today. And it will get worse if nothing changes.”
At Legalnaija, we are building the legal technology infrastructure that Nigeria has never had.
A platform where a software developer, a tailor's apprentice, a market trader, and a corporate lawyer all access the same quality of legal knowledge.
Where rights are not a privilege of proximity to power.
Where the checkpoint on a Friday evening is not the end of the story.
Access to justice is not charity.
It is the foundation on which every other form of national development stands.
Build the foundation.

I want to tell you about a two-time Nobel Prize winner who figured out why humans get heart disease and almost every other animal does not.
His name was Linus Pauling. He won the Nobel Prize in Chemistry in 1954 and the Nobel Peace Prize in 1962. He is the only person in history to win two unshared Nobel Prizes.
In 1989 he published something that should have changed cardiology forever.
He called it the Unified Theory of Human Cardiovascular Disease.
Nobody listened.
Check it out for yourself on Google Maps. If the right thing is not done we will keep experiencing the same thing every year.
For those of you who keep saying the drainage is blocked because of trash, I hope you learn now. Those sand-filled blockages are everywhere.
That’s a major reason why there are floods on this side of the peninsula. 🆘🆘🆘 @hctokunbowahab @drobafemihamzat@lagosstategovt
Speaking at the Boy Code Africa Bootcamp today 💜
At 19, Snapchat paid me $6,000 to create an augmented reality experience. That opportunity led to building multiple AR lenses and collaborating with Meta, musicians, and globally recognized brands on immersive projects.
Eventually, I had to choose between AR and medicine, and my Nigerian mother made sure that decision was crystal clear. 😅
Even so, I’ve never stopped believing in the power of technology. People who build with passion have the ability to change not only their own lives, but the world around them.
I can’t wait to share that journey and speak with these incredible young men today. 🦾💜
Excited to join the @pocarisweatng family! 🇯🇵 🇳🇬

The tragic assassination of Kudirat Abiola. June 4, 1996 - Around 9:30am, as Kudirat (wife of detained MKO Abiola) traveled in her white Mercedes with her PA and driver on the Lagos-Ibadan Expressway near Oregun Road, two Peugeot cars ambushed them.
Gunmen opened fire at close range. A bullet struck her forehead. She was rushed to hospital but died shortly after. Her PA survived the hail of bullets.
A fearless voice silenced under Abacha's regime.
