"मायोपिया जागरूकता सप्ताह" के अवसर पर नेत्र रोग विभाग ने 23.5.26 को मरीजों के लिए "मायोपिया जागरूकता वार्ता" का आयोजन किया। विभाग के सीनियर रेजीडेंट्स & पीजी रेजीडेंट्स ने एक विशेष जानकारीपूर्ण & आकर्षक नाट्यांश प्रस्तुत किया, जिसका उद्देश्य मायोपिया के प्रति जागरूकता फैलाना था।

Department of Neonatology, LHMC conducted its 6th monthly community outreach activity at CHPC on Kangaroo Mother Care (KMC). Residents & nursing staff organised a health talk and skit highlighting hospital, home and community KMC to improve outcomes of low birth weight neonates.

International Nurses Day celebrated at LHMC by Dept of Neonatology with AON Delhi, IANN, TNAI & INC. Over 100 delegates from 18+ hospitals attended the full-day CNE with scientific sessions, poster walk, quizzes, 50 nurse champions & 3 Lifetime Achievement Awards.

On occasion of 11th National Dengue Day Dept of Community Medicine LHMC organized various Sensitization sessions for Doctors & staff of LHMC on 15th & 16th May on prevention & control of Dengue in hospital. Public Awareness activities were also held in PHC Palam & UHC Kalyanpuri.

Department of Medicine, organized public awareness fortnight from 24/4/26 to 7/5/26 on occasion of World Malaria Day. Malaria related issues, complications and its preventive aspect were highlighted.

A team of NHA and ABDM carried out HPR (Health Professional Drive) on 6 May 2026 in the Mini Auditorium, LHMC from 3 -4 pm. This drive is necessary for AYUSHMAN BHARAT DIGITAL MISSION and ABPMJAY claim submission and reimbursement.

On 1st National NRP Day (10 May 2026), marking 35 years of NRP in India, 25,000+ providers were trained across 10,000 centres.

The Department of Neurology held public awareness lecture on the occasion of World Parkinson’s Day on 15-4-2026 in the OPD block. Patient & their caregivers were educated regarding the signs & symptoms of Parkinson’s disease, its treatment & the required physiotherapy exercises.

As part of 100 days campaign, session on TB Mukt Abhiyaan & it's latest app was held at UHC Kalyanpuri (Dept of Community Medicine) for PG1s & interns on 30.4.26. 200 clinical suspects have been screened with hand-held X-rays & 41 patients were referred to SPM TB hospital.

Public Lecture Series are being regularly organised by Dept. of Neonatology, LHMC . A session was conducted today on “नवजात पीलिया – कब नॉर्मल, कब खतरनाक”
It involved parents of newborn babies and their attendants besides students from College of Nursing and Nurses from KSCH.
