She made my night, my partner tried to distract me so I would not start crying in the restaurant, but I've never been so moved and happy to work in schools. I hope I can do even better now as a teacher!

2h ago, at the Japanese restaurant, while my partner was at the bathroom, a young man approaches me with a folded note, asking if he can deliver it to me from his friend. I accept, and when my partner comes back from the bathroom he finds me in happy tears reading the note...

... and I asked if I could go over. She nodded. I joined her table for a few minutes, I did recognise her. I was not her teacher, I was an assistant to a pupil in her class for a year. Yet she remembered my kindness, and she still had that bracelet. Kindness is always worth it!

When discussing how to support a pupil with his PS teacher and you get the best possible feedback: "he said he feels well supported in your class". Nothing makes me happier than getting it right for my students! #teachergoals #asna

@WeAreTeachers A pupil told me with a sad face "I cannot do Italian". After some help he attempted the exercise. Next thing I know he's shouting "yes!" fist in the air at his perfect answer for the next line. :)

@joedale I use them quite often and I very much try to make them esthetically pleasing, dyslexia friendly and clear. If I use them for activities like "what's missing?" I can have more than 30 slides, depending on how many items of vocab I'm using/introducing.
