I’m not a Disney cheerleader or anything, but it is fascinating to see how well they’ve handled Fox’s mature movie franchises since the takeover.

They’re 4-for-4 with Predator, Omen, Apes and now Alien. All decent and meaningful additions to their franchises…

It’s about recognising that coming out is a deeply personal moment that should be directed by the student and done on their terms, and not their parents’ terms and certainly not the school’s.

We only inform parents of something if the student is engaging in illegal activity or if there is a safeguarding issue.

A student being gay does not fall into either of those categories. Nor should it.
