in my years watching baseball, whenever the Tigers are playing poorly a major cheating scandal is exposed 1-2 years after their worst year. Steroids followed the early 2000's Tigers abomination, sign stealing/stick stuff scandals followed the Tigers late 2010's and early 2020s

poor play. I think it's fun to notice that the Tigers have almost no one implicated in any of those scandals, and they were the worst team in baseball during all 3. Wonder if it's known when cheating is happening, avoid the way too honest Tigers. idk
