No, you cannot walk 10,000 steps daily, get 8 hours of sleep, cook every night, clean every day, take care of a family, make time for your own hobbies, and still be productive at work every day. This is not just propaganda, it is nonsense. Free yourself from it.
Suicidal ideation, for many, isn't about death.
It's about relief.
From shame.
From feeling overwhelmed constantly. From feeling like a fucking burden.
The goal isn't always "not wanting to be alive"
It's just not wanting to live like this.
People don’t die by suicide because they’re weak.
They die because they carried too much, for too long, alone.
Because their cries for help were minimized.
Because the weight became heavier than their will to keep breathing.
Depression can look like:
Counting down the hours until you can go back to bed.
Cancelling appointments because you can’t face outside.
Eating too much or not at all.
Staring at the wall longer than you’d admit.
Wanting help but not knowing how to ask.
Repost if you understand to show others (ME) we aren’t alone.
if only you knew how much I cried when I decided to distance myself from you. How I still wanted to be with you. But I knew I couldn't. I don't think you'll ever understand how much it took out of me. You don't know how hurt and broken I was because of the decision I made. The decision to let you go even though I didn't want to but I had to.
I still remember how our first conversation started. I still recall how wide my smile was whenever we talked the way you made me feel safe. That was when I realized I had fallen for you. I loved you more than you ever knew and I feared it. Losing you when I loved you the most was the hardest thing I've ever had to do.
It was hard to understand how something that felt so right could go so wrong. Maybe for you we were nothing. But for me we were something. Something that meant so much. Which is why it's so hard to move forward. It's hard to accept because we never even got the chance to truly begin. Yet somehow we still came to an end
When someone is chosen by God, you’ll know it by the way they go through hell, lose people, lose reputations, face isolation, storms and humiliation that would’ve taken others out…
Yet somehow they come back stronger, more resilient. Full of joy and laughter again.
That kind of strength isn’t natural.
It’s Divine. ✨
So proud of the young man my son, Snoopy, has grown up to be. He offered to take me to my Vivitrol appointment after pulling an all nighter at work. Love you mijo 💙
Those old memories popping into your mind out of nowhere can feel like a punch in the gut sometimes.
You picture that time where you belly laughed together. You remember a special moment that you shared such joy. You recall the way they looked at you and all you felt was pure love.
And it makes you sad…until you remember that’s not who they are anymore. And then you also recall that’s not who you are anymore. And sometimes things transpired in this physical realm that absolutely warranted you going your separate ways. It can hurt.
BUT DON’T FORGET THE LOVE. That love is eternal. It remains in that timeline of your journey. That love stays in that moment of time that you shared with that person. Just because a person is not part of your life anymore does not mean that love did not exist.
You’re in a new timeline now. You’ve evolved. You chose yourself. You love yourself. You respect yourself enough to have boundaries that protect your peace and your future.
When you elevated, they couldn’t meet you there and that’s OK. Not everyone is supposed to walk your entire journey with you. In fact, many don’t. Many souls who cross your path are to help you grow. You learn the lessons, the soul contract is done, and you continue on your journey.
Feel the pain of those memories because it’s human and normal. But, then let them go. Be so proud of yourself and how far you’ve come. Your soul is learning, evolving and ascending.
And, most importantly, don’t forget the LOVE…because when we leave this earthly plane, that’s all there is on the other side. Pure LOVE.
