He wants infinite H-1Bs
He values his own people over the people of the US
He knows how unpopular this is, he knows it’s losing him the election, he doesn’t care
His loyalty is to a foreign people
It would be refreshing if companies like Microsoft - which couldn’t exist without the American market/legal system/people - would stop trying to undercut the wages of Americans without the federal government standing behind them with a whip.
So everyone now admits that “consent is not enough”.
But don’t expect the return of Christian sexual ethics or any sane sexual ethics, because that would limit female optionality.
Expect, instead, for a push to find men criminally accountable for female regret after the fact.
@ubiquitousnewt Yep, used to watch those " didn't know I was pregnant " shows back in the day. Can they really not know?! But usually it was morbidly obese women on those shows....
Everyone knows the problem and the solution.
The sexual revolution and women’s lib were total disasters, and now we need chaperones, rules, and cognitive security boundaries for women outside of rare exceptions.
Most men are either slowly working towards this conclusion or debating where to draw the lines. Most women understand this problem intuitively and are looking for a face-saving way to bow out or come clean about their mistakes while maintaining their dignity.
Meanwhile, the only people holding back the obvious compromises are people who benefit from the sex-war and/or are bitter about missing out and want future generations to suffer like they did.
It’s kind of funny how all political jobs just sorta went to women during the Millennial generation.
In Highschool all the guys loved politics, the girls didn’t.
Then in college, they told us there were no jobs in liberal arts or social sciences. Guys put in the grind on STEM and finance. Girls majored in the “thing they liked”, which always meant “thing they liked plus politics” because this was college.
Graduate and somehow the liberal arts girls get jobs anyway, they get jobs as political officers.
Now our society’s political class is female.
If someone tells you that your ethnicity isn’t real, simply ask them what your ethnicity really is.
“You don’t have an ethnicity” means this person is your enemy
“I don’t know” means this person is bad faith.
“Actually, it’s this useless micro-ethnicity (that your grandmother NEVER heard of)” means this person is probably bad faith.
“Actually, it’s this useless micro-ethnicity (that your grandmother DID hear of)” means this person is probably autistic.
Does America belong to our children or to anyone who files paperwork and wants to make money?
Is America something our posterity inherits or a GDP machine?
@Catholicizm1 I had never heard of this song before last night. Looked up the lyrics. I pray my daughters resist this propaganda and hold to the faith. This is such a perverted view of being a wife and mother.
@Catholicizm1 One time I went darker than usual on a whim. My husband wasn't a fan. He was perfectly courteous about it but made his opinion known. I immediately booked a color correction. I didn't like the idea of him looking at me and not liking what he saw.
When I think back on 9/11 25 years later, I remember this brief moment where a united people seemed possible again. The flags, the 90% approval rate for Bush, a palpable sense of solidarity.
And then a reckless administration smashed it all to pieces with an expensive, destructive foreign policy; open borders and amnesty efforts that damaged solidarity and impeded assimilation; terrible fiscal policies that included waging wars while cutting taxes at the same time (taxes went way up in WW2, that’s what you do when you fight a war); promoting an ‘ownership society’ that involved strong-arming banks to provide mortgages to people with bad credit, contributing to the 2008 financial crisis; and then bailing out the banks that mostly caused the crisis, even making sure rich bankers got their bonuses, while people lost their homes.
In short - the Bush administration was the worst of my lifetime, and it squandered an incredible opportunity after a terrible tragedy. Everything we’ve seen since - the massive national debt, the divide and conquer racial politics of Obama, the Trump backlash - it all goes back to the Bush administration.
