@IMPROVingFrank Yes it is. He’s been underwhelming for a while, but the front office got rid of Buck, because they wanted a manager who would take direction from them and Mendoza was willing to do that. Now Mendoza will likely take the fall, despite the front office assembling a flawed roster.
This has been one of the better and more original twists on a “trip report” in a long time. Great content. If you are using today as a travel day, it’s a good binge listen.

@IMPROVingFrank Yes. Complaining about Soto for the first two months distracted from the many real issues on the team including that the 5-9 hitters were mostly terrible. McNeil, Vientos, Mauricio, Taylor etc. all were disappointments.
@DillosDiz@jenillo@IMPROVingFrank As a New Yorker, referring to transferring from the Magic Kingdom monorail to the Epcot monorail at the TTC as “transferring at Jamaica” was👌. I’ll be using that terminology going forward.
@DillosDiz@jenillo@IMPROVingFrank It was brief, but Franks description of Florida hotels, the slightly moldy smell etc., was just 10/10. No one has summed the experience up better.
@IMPROVingFrank The way the market has dried up its making more sense that he resigns with the Mets.
Though I don’t want to discount Boras’ ability to drag this out and then possibly stick Pete on some short term deal somewhere else.
@IMPROVingFrank Frank, if they sign Pete, you might be the number 3 starter come opening day. Even Cohen is going to run out of money and they need a top of the line starter.
@AliciaStella If it’s well made it will overcome that. Fans have grown accustomed to reboots. And to be honest the story telling and some of the acting in the original movies is a little thin. There’s definitely room to dive deep and make a better product and if they, do it will work.
In honor of the start of the Candlelight Processional season at Epcot let’s do a bracket style battle royale to see who’s the best Narrator this year. No seeding. Just went by chronological order. Round 1:
@Blog_Mickey They’ve learned. This is the exact announcement for which their post and videos would get absolutely dragged for on social media. But the outrage will be disproportionate “online”. Most people won’t care. They’re just avoiding that whole mess and plowing on.
Muppets Rockin Roller Coaster could be fun, but it could also be lazy. It has the feeling that this could be more of a “souped up overlay” than a significant redesign of the area/ride.
@BoardwalkTimes I’m not sure this is a hot take, but I feel Disney did make efforts to make Muppets relevant with new generations, but it just never worked. It’s sad, but the Jim Henson company is a dying brand.
@IMPROVingFrank It’s amazing the second act he has had post Mike and the Mad Dog. Hes got an excellent argument to be considered the greatest sports talk show host ever, because sports talk will never be as influential and popular as it was in the 90s.
@VashSky Especially post Covid, It’s been frustrating to think what would be possible if Disney could reinvest Theme park profits back into the parks rather than spreading it around the company to absorb losses like Snow White will likely be.
@gatortebowfan15@ThatDisneyBoi Also fans are tired of Disney announcing these grand plans which either take years to start building or never come to fruition at all. They’re better just announcing plans that are imminent and seeing them through.
