📢 New Video Series: Post Diagnostic Support Guidelines for People with Intellectual Disabilities: Pillars of Support
We’re proud to share a newly launched series of short, accessible videos based on the Post-Diagnostic Dementia Support Guidelines for People with an Intellectual Disability.
Developed as a key stage of this research project, these guidelines provide practical, evidence-informed recommendations to help individuals with an intellectual disability, their families, and carers navigate the journey following a dementia diagnosis.
The videos break down the key pillars of support in a clear and accessible format— ensuring best practices in care are understandable and actionable at every stage of dementia.
This is an important step forward in making inclusive, person-centred dementia care more available to all.
