We urge OSU to align with its stated commitment to anti-racism, beginning by reallocating any & all resources from our newly-established police force to increased budgets, wages & FTE for programs & depts that center care and support BIPOC, queer, trans & low-income students.
The Division of Student Affairs Priority Steering Committee is sponsoring workshops for OSU students from Stronghold, an org working at the intersection of restorative and racial justice. Detailed information is in flyers attached.
Registration required: https://t.co/EeSOCPnp62
For BIPOC community members wishing to receive the COVID-19 vaccine, please email [email protected] with your name, contact number, and type "NAACP" next to your name for immediate vaccine opportunities at Linn County Fairgrounds.

The OSU Board of Trustees is currently trying rearrange their agenda to push public testimony back. They are actively suppressing our voices during finals week.
In an overwhelming 109-4 vote with seven abstentions, the Oregon State University Faculty Senate voted to express that they “had no confidence in President Alexander’s ability to lead OSU,” and called for his resignation.

I don’t quite understand how the solution to Alexander’s lack of credibility or trust with survivor community (or faculty or staff or students here or at his prior institution) is to put him in charge of plan to rebuild trust and lay out plan for survivor services.
The @OregonState Board of Trustees have proven through their discussions today that they are completely & totally incapable of handling issues related to gendered violence.
@OregonGovBrown we need to find another solution. This group is more harmful than helpful to survivors.
After listening to today's testimony and reading available materials over the past week, I join with students, survivors, staff and faculty at @OregonState to call for the immediate termination of F. King Alexander's presidency. #orpol
