@exposforever @PetesGuide @MikeChillit I saw a clip today of Rush explaining the ‘plexiglass’ viewport and he said that as it gets under pressure it compresses, and if it starts to fail, it will actually ‘crackle’ around the edges. (Another innovative warning feature) I’m wondering if perhaps the viewport shattered?

@MikeChillit I think the term Implosion is confusing people. As I understand it, the actual event of an ‘implosion’ such as this begins with an implosion, then an explosion. People are thinking it all got sucked in on itself, not realizing there was an ‘outwards’ event subsequently.

@MikeChillit There was a thread earlier where it was suggested the bolts sheared off, which I would have thought needed a sideways directional force, and the hatch ‘must’ have blown outwards. Admittedly I have zero knowledge of physics and directional forces under pressure/stress.
