Crews responded to the plane crash near the area of McKellips and Queen Creek roads near the Chandler airport.

"Our units worked with Chandler Airport tower to confirm the location of a down aircraft that was reported from a 911 call," the Chandler Fire Department said.

Enugu Air Aircraft (5N-ENR) Veers Off Runway at Benin Airport, No Injuries Reported.

An Enugu Air aircraft veered off the runway after landing at Benin Airport on Wednesday, July 23, 2026, prompting an emergency response and a temporary disruption to flight operations.

The incident involved Enugu Air Flight 4264, an Embraer 170, which overran the runway at approximately 3:10 p.m. Despite the runway excursion, all passengers and crew members were safely evacuated, and no injuries or fatalities were reported.

In a statement, Enugu Air confirmed that the aircraft had been secured and that the appropriate aviation authorities had been notified in accordance with established safety procedures.

"The aircraft has been secured and the relevant aviation authorities have been notified in line with established procedures. An assessment of the aircraft and the circumstances surrounding the occurrence is currently underway," the airline said.
