Alright I’ll say it: I wish there were less events. More and more, I don’t tune in for these tournaments on boring courses I’ve watched since 2016 or so. Beef up the best of the best, and give pros proper time to train and practice on each one.
Anytime someone complains about spit outs this weekend we’ll just replay this clip.
Seriously, I have no idea how that stuck. 60+ MPH high in the chains. Wild.
Got a new Pound Rufus. I’ve been using the Octothorpe for 3ish years now, and love it, but haven’t been needing all the disc space lately. I’m carrying 8 less discs in this and all the accessories I could ever need. Really nice load out.
I wonder if the live broadcast today will mention Natalie’s name if she’s anywhere close to the top of the leaderboard, or if they’ve told the commentators to not mention her. No way a camera is out there on her.
I’ve always had more fun playing niche sports than traditional ones (pool, ping pong, bowling, etc.) and I really don’t think us as disc golfers have any room to make fun of other ones.
Let people have fun with their hobbies.
@DiscGolfLists Nah I doubt that. He’s still selling discs, they’d get way too much bad PR for even trying. They had to have known his 30s couldn’t be as successful as his 20s.
Curious about the discourse about McBeth this year. Pretty lackluster so far, bolting to Europe for a while, will probably win a few tourneys, then come back. Obviously competing for a title can right all wrongs.
@GreenSplatter Eveliina’s -10 was pretty impressive.
And you’re wrong. I had to look up who came in 5th to see what you meant. -17 is cool, but it wasn’t filmed, and Conrad didn’t end up wining.
