@MarikaRose@BBCRadio4 I can’t tell you how much your Daily Service meant to me as I listened on bbc sounds today. I was so moved and it spoke to me so deeply with where I am in life right now. If it’s possible you could send me the script so I could read the words again, I would be so grateful xx
@Soul_on_fire85 I would simply chat about anything and think is this a person who in time I can trust to open up to, does this person seem calm and peaceful, and interested in me? And it’s fine to say no. I found a new one after a couple of sessions when it just didn’t feel quite right.
If you get a chance, take a listen to “Covering religion for news” on today’s Radio 4 Sunday programme on BBC sounds app. Really good material for the inter-faith module @ERMCCambridge!
I’m looking forward to the @ERMCCambridge #quietmorning and am hoping to go for a walk at the lodge @RSPBEngland if it’s not too windy. There’s plenty of benches to rest on in between for some quiet reflection too.
I’ve noticed that almost everyone seems to pronounce the service of “compline” differently. I say “kom plynn” others say “kom pleen”. Having googled, apparently the correct pronunciation is “kom-plain”. Is that really true? I think that is the one pronunciation I’ve never heard!

Have yourself a merry church re-opening
Let your heart be light
From now on your troubles will be out of sight

Happy golden days of yore
