Creation care is an important part of our Christian discipleship if we love God and God's world. This John Stott lecture by Kuki Rokhum is an important contribution to our thinking.https://t.co/t850FxiOeE
I tend to think that hymns and songs that the church sings should include those reflecting everythday life and God's involvement there. It was great to see that a recent episode of Songs of Praise metup with the Boundless project which does just that. https://t.co/fFCoGx89bh
Really good to spend the morning yesterday with some of our Synod preachers and worship leaders looking at preparing sermons with Julian Templeton and Nathan Eddy. Great to see these friends giving time to resource their ministries.
Really good, today, to meet and spend time with Isabella, our new Pioneer Minister in Colindale, North London. So pleased to see her make this start in this exciting new ministry.
Really great, today, with my colleague Julian to meet some of the Newbigin Pioneer Hub training cohort as they visited East London to find out some of the great kingdom living and work going on here. Great also to see Ash Barker after so long!
Great today, to meet with Hannah at our Clapton Park Church to discuss vision and plans to encourage and enrich the faith life there. Also good to meet with some of the community work team there and hear more about the good work being done.
A privilege to attend the interfaith Chanukah candle lighting ceremony in London. In the wake of the horrific attack at Bondi Beach, there was much to ponder about what it means to maintain hope that the light will not be overcome by the darkness.
Christmas Carol singing today at Highbury and Islington station and raising money for the London Churches' Refugee Fund. Sharing love, peace, and good news with the good people of this amazing city (and they loved it!)

False sincerity has much to say, because it is afraid. True candor can afford to be silent. It does not need to face an anticipated attack. Anything it may have to defend can be defended with perfect simplicity.
