Holy Crap! A random trip to the pet battle Discord got me resubbed and battling! The queue seems to be working quite well!

How? How is it possible that I didn't know you could trade in 3 family specific stones for a marked stone? I've only been pet battling since day one of MoP. Maybe I knew then forgot. A lot of critters, beasts, and flyers went blue today!

Good news: I tried again tonight and got some battles.

Bad News: All I faced was a triple idol idol team, totally mindless using Deflect on CD.

More bad news: After a couple of losses from my Tiny Twister they stopped queuing.

I'm glad to see you get player exp from PvPPB.

Subbed to WoW for a month. Logged in, updated addons. Sat in pet battle queue, nothing. Did a few PvE pet battles. Logged out, unsubbed. Best $15 I ever spent.

I heard you all are loving your dragons, so the next xpac might be just as bland (concept wise). Which means I'll stay gone :P Anyways, hope all the people I met in WoW and PB are doing well!

Who knew when I "quit WoW" after 10+ years that I would actually be quitting. I owe it all to Sandstorm and Darkness being OP, chasing me away from pet battles. Oh, and dragons. Couldn't stomach an entire xpac about dragons after coming off a concept as awesome as Shadowlands.

Look on the PvPPB Discord every now and then, but everything I read screams "stay away!"

Still WoW free. Pathfinder 2E, Super Smash Brothers (with my students), started a Tyranid army (4th 40k army haha), still coaching my math team, started collecting Pokemon and MetaZoo cards at 49 yo, hiking wilderness high points, Demeo with irl friends. Life is full and good.

Life after WoW is good! I'm currently in two Pathfinder 2E campaigns (playing oracle and psychic), regularly playing Demeo with friends on Oculus, painting/playing 40k( started a Tyranid quick paint project). Going to Japan over break. Absolutely no desire to return to WoW.

And my last unsubbed time only lasted for about three months. Who knows how I will feel in three more?

Well, here I am again unsubbing for the second time. Just doing too many other things atm. Plus DF doesn't look interesting. SL was like "omg adventure in the place where souls go when they die!". DF is like... dragons?

Additionally, no real changes to PvPPB makes me hesitant to focus on that.

Finally, after really enjoying being in a guild on Llane, I never quite found a real home after that. I will always regret that things escalated the way they did.

If I don't decide to go for S4 KSM that means I might have time to do a few pvp pet battles here and there. No promises on vids though.

Not sure if I want to do the KSM thing again for S4. August - October is the most demanding time of the year for me as a teacher. Plus, I've only gotten rid of half of the weight I put on during pandemic, so need to step up my exercise game. Thinking I'll save my WOWing for DF.

Had an awesome summer. My new hobby is reaching CA wilderness high points. Sometimes there's hiking trails, sometimes you just gotta bushwhack to the top. Went to Peru to hike in the Andes. Amazing. Went on a road trip up CA coast to celebrate 11 year anniversary. Great summer.

First battle with Archetype of Multiplicity was a win, but I gotta admit Blazehound's trap went off at the perfect time. Battle came down to a head game, would the Bone Serpent use Call of Darkness or not? Made the right call and won :)
