@HeroJogle @HelpforHeroes Hi guys! Great work. We don’t use this Twitter account very often anymore. Please do message us on Instagram or Facebook or ping the team a message on [email protected] FAO the marketing team. Thank you!
@kirstyholmes191 As we said, think about ones that pack down to a nice size to slip in the side of your day bag. There are lots of collapsible versions out there and ones that slide right down to less than a metre if needs be. Better to have, than to regret it!
@kirstyholmes191 Well done! 💪🥾 We’ve chatted to the crew and it’s a resounding “yes” you should take them, even if it’s just in case, because they are useful. You might not use them (it will always boil down to personal choice/circumstance) but they all say it’s a “must” or “essential”.
I am raising money for @CruseCare by trekking to Everest Base Camp 🗻 with @DiscoverAd My story is on my @JustGiving page, if you would like to sponsor me, that would be great! Thank you! #JustGiving https://t.co/wR3fpmbQXC
@kirstyholmes191 It shouldn’t cause issues if you don’t want to use them, as it’s mostly about being comfortable & doing what’s best for you. Our advice is always to take them but if you feel fine without, it is not essential. We’ll also get some tips from the crew, and come back to you ASAP. 2/2
@kirstyholmes191 Hi Kirsty! It’s a good question & often we leave poles up to personal preference. With this trip we do recommend having them to hand. If you get/borrow some collapsible ones or ones that shrink down, you can slide them in the side of your bag and only use them when needed? 1/2
