Back in 1944, during the war, King George VI & Queen Elizabeth came to @DiscoverElsecar to meet miners & their families. They were treated to a full Roast Beef dinner at Elsecar Main pit canteen.

We had an amazing time at the Building Bridges Celebration Event at @DiscoverElsecar on Wednesday. The evening was highlighted by impressive exhibition boards and stunning light projections. It was truly a memorable night and an incredible experience.
