I am reaching out for information on the Co-Op that used to run in Termon, would anyone have any photos or stories they would like to share please?
I understand there was a boxing club at one stage ran by a P.J. Sweeney. Any info would be greatly appreciated.

I am not sure of the year??
This photo was given to me by Geraldine Ní Cheallaigh Humphrys, please keep sending in photos you would like to share.
If you could give our page a share too that would be great.
sign of the times in 1939, when Termon National School had to close when only 19 children out of 124 were able to attend due to the influenza pandemic.
Who would have thought that 80 years later we would have another world pandemic.

We recently heard that Eamon de Valera may have visited Termon National School in the 1960's
Would anyone have any information on this? We know that it is highly unlikely that there was photographs taken as it was an unofficial visit
Please share this to help spread the message.
Take a look at these links to gigs held in the Termon hall in 1999 and 2001.
Both pulling in good crowds.
Do you have any memories of Termon hall? Or have any photos of events held there, please get in touch.
