Have you seen the new mural at Welling Station? It is the first part and will eventually be 46 metres long! It is called 'Commuting through Time' and will depict commuters between 1895 and now.

Stop 6 and our final stop for the #gbspringclean Tour of Welling was Welling Town Centre.

Starting off from the newly reopened McDonalds in Bellegrove Road, there were 9 volunteers, including @GoodGymBexley , McDonalds Staff and Discover Welling. #lovewhereyoulive

Stop 5 on the #GBSpringClean tour of Welling was Falconwood Parade.

Discover Welling volunteers teamed up again with GoodGym Bexley and we were pleased to have a new volunteer join us.

In all, we collected 4 bags of litter.

Discover Welling volunteers teamed up with GoodGym Bexley, East Wickham ward and Welling Station staff for a bit of planting and painting.

Stop 3 on our #gbspringclean Tour of Welling was Wrotham Road & Stevens Park. It was a lovely day to spend a lunchtime playing what seemed like a cross between ker-plunk and lucky dip as we spent most of the time pulling out assorted litter from the hedge!

We teamed up with @GoodGymBexley and @PureGym London Welling in what has now become an annual Spring cleaning event of giving the Welling Gateway murals a wash. Thank you to the Plough and Harrow for letting us fill up our buckets in the pub.

Thank you to everyone who participated, including GoodGym Bexley, East Wickham ward action team members and Discover Welling volunteers. Next stop isWednesday at 7pm where we wash the murals under the Bellegrove Road railway bridge as well as litter picking the surrounding area.

This afternoon was the first stop on the #GBSpringClean tour of Welling - a litter pick on Shoulder of Mutton Green. We also picked litter in and around Bellegrove Parade. In total, we collected 9 bags of litter and the bottom of a traffic cone.

Heavy rain was forecast for the @Se_Railway Welling Station litter pick this afternoon, but just before 2pm, the rain stopped and it stayed dry for the litter pick. We picked up over 20 bags of litter. Well done to all the volunteers @KeepBritainTidy #gbsc
