In Discussions on Psychoanalysis, Grégoire and Edgard Francisco wish to offer a discussion on psychoanalysis, not a conference, not class, just a discussion.
Hi Everyone,
New episode here:

In this episode we based our discussion on a 1994 article written by Kenneth Eisold, "The Intolerance of Diversity in Psychoanalytic Institutes".
Let us know what you thought!
Best,
Hi Everyone,
I just wanted to let you know that the episode 51 is almost ready but your hosts schedules have been very incompatible recently. We might be able to release it in July.
Thank you for listening!
Hi Everyone,
Episodes 49 and 50 are already recorded. I am working on editing them, but it's going to take longer than I thought. So, no episode this month. We'll be back in April (no fool, it's a promise :) !
Hello Everyone,
We just wanted to let you know that we restarted recording episodes. The next one will be out the 2nd Tuesday of November.
Thank you for listening.
@jar_jar_mel I agree. At least one, and more if it doesn't hurt the practice. And I would add that it is good for a therapist to be reminded of the many ways humans can live. When we exclude certain populations, we exclude a part of our own humanity, which hurts our ability to listen.
In this episode we try talk about how impossible it is to interact with our patients without closing doors, how it can be beneficial but can also hurt the process.

Hello Everyone,
In this episode your hosts talk about how they met psychoanalysis and what they appreciated about it.
Thank you for listening!

In this ep, we question how we interact with our patients, and more specifically how aggression can be at times expressed despite our conscious best intentions.
This podcast is dedicated to our dear friend and colleague Peter Jaegerman.

Dear Listeners,
Just a little note to let you know that we won't be able to offer you an episode this month. We should be back in February.
That said, Happy New Year!
Last week, Edgard and I recorded episode 37 in his office. It felt nice. Nicer than the previous week during which we recorded an episode 37 that will never be aired. It happened before: we record, we think it's ok, and during the editing phase I realize that it's crap.
Hi,
Here's a link to our latest episode on neutrality & analyst's beliefs.

PS: not sure why, but my English was especially broken on this one. Sorry to the native E. speakers!
To our twitter audience: Sorry!
Here are the links to the last 2 episodes of DoP:
A 2nd ep with S. Kassouf on climate change and traumatized sensibility

Hi,
Our latest episode is the 1st of 2 on psychoanalysis and climate change, with Susan Kassouf. Bursts of anxiety could happen while listening to the podcast, but they would be worth it :) Thx for listening!
