Surprisingly, these days Jitan Manjhi sounds more sensible than Chirag Paswan.

Scrapping reservation isn’t possible, that’s understandable, but reforms certainly are. The EWS quota introduced by the Modi govt was one such step, and more reforms should be considered.

A well-thought-out reform of the reservation system can also benefit many backward communities that aren’t getting its benefits.
