well, @SandyToken / $Sandy been doing this for almost a year now, @Rockooor is dev behind it and it being a Nobel cause the sandy validator have over 100k SOL staked too most of yield goes to donations and also based on token22 so it gets 5% fees on each trade too. Is a great concept overall
(not a paid shill or anything, I am a sandy holder for long time personally.)

I have thought about this, but I personally rather pay money to a dog shelter then ask them to walk a dog.

Not all dogs need walks, they need a better shelter or more food. The dog shelter owners know what the dogs need best, and if it's dog walks they can hire someone for it. We made it possible for 2 west African shelters to completely renovate, made some dog surgeries possiblein multiple countries and collectively the shelters we donated to bought a few hundred KGs of food. Also we steralised a few hundred stray dogs in eastern Europe to make sure the problem there doesn't get worse, and a whole lot more. No amount of individual effort of some people in the crypto space can do that, unless these are vets, construction workers etc in here but I doubt it.

Money is human time compressed in a number. I launched the project not to be a meme coin but to help dogs :)

That said, a way to activate the holders to ADDITIONALLY do something good with their own time would be really nice, and it's something I'm thinking about
