1/ With all the talk of how lockdowns can eventually be ended, the EU Commission this week drew up an internal 'roadmap towards exiting from the Covid-19 pandemic' which provides some interesting and detailed ideas on how the gradual rollback of restrictions could be managed.
Hopefully this goes some way to addressing the false narrative that these people would have died soon anyway, and we’ll hear rather less of it from journalists and commentators who ought to know better. 8/8
Thanks to everyone who has donated food to @AgeUKWandsworth. I dropped off lots yesterday and Natalie told me what they need more of. All donations to 159 Old York Road, and referrals: 02088778940 @ageuklondon#IsolationLife#CoronaLockdown

I should be qualified to comment on the covid-19 pandemic. I'm a computational/system biologist working on infectious diseases and have spent five years in a world class 'pandemic response modelling' unit. In this thread, I will summarise what I believe I (don't) know. (1/12)
A good friend is an HR manager in London.
Friend: we are cutting 100 staff in London & it's tough.
Me: that's shitty.
Friend: horrible, but we are letting the British workers go.
Me: why?
Friend: much easier to relocate our EU staff. The British will just be dead weight soon..
The EU member states should grant UK citizens living in Europe the full rights as they have today. Automatically. No ‘ifs and buts’ here either. Let's also come back to the idea of ‘European associated citizenship’ for UK citizens who want to keep their link with Europe.

Normally, I wouldn't bother checking, but a quick Google suggests that sunrise in Oxshott yesterday was at 07.20.
These days it saves time to just presume that if a Tory said it, it's unlikely to be true.
I am the @LibDems PPC🔸️for Chingford and Woodford Green. I am relatively new to this Twitter thing.
I am standing as the pro-remain candidate against Iain Duncan Smith.
Please help me spread my reach by following me and try to cause an upset.

As UK heads into third Brexit extension, country looks forward to another three months of bickering, amateur dramatics and absolutely nothing being achieved before asking the EU for another one.
