@gwilkie80@Big12Conference Texas Tech has 1 season since 2010 with less than 5 losses.
Yes. They spent a ton of money with NIL, but can they actually put a few years together before we make dumb statements like that.
Utah and Oklahoma State competed at national level for 2 decades. TCU and Baylor.
@oyimzy This past weekend, the U.S hosted the World Cup, crowned an NBA Champion, crowned a Stanley Cup Champion. Kicked off the College World Series. Had a full MLB schedule, had 80k attend an exhibition baseball game, and now have one of the 4 major golf tournaments kicking off.
@flatland_sports Please leave. The Big 12 will be fine without Texas Tech.
Tech has one good season and they think they're some indispensable program. It's laughable.
@Jeromie_Oney The levels of delusions from Tech is hilarious.
It was BYU that brought in the ratings. They're the only program in the conference with a massive national following.
@BoxScore_FB The Big 12 shouldn't care what they think. Texas Tech needs the Big 12 more than the conference needs them.
If 15/16 schools are aligned, that is the Big 12's responsibility.
@mcbz96@On3 The Big 12's one strength is that not a single program is essential for survival. It's a bunch of schools operating in the same space.
One goes down. Another comes up.
Texas Tech goes away. Oklahoma State comes up.
Literally nothing changes.
@DrewfusMcGoofus I mean this with complete seriousness. Cougar High is above Texas Tech on the Big 10 wish list.
As are the other 14 Big 12 teams.
Texas Tech leaving the Big 12 is the end of them as a power conference program. No one wants them.
@Pumpjack4L I'm not a fan of Tech's reaction though I hope it's a warning for any other program who thinks playing a player in Sorsby's situation is acceptable.
The minute Tech puts him on the field they should be sanctioned in every way possible.
I don't think he will play though.
@rollin_raiders Nothing yet. The minute he sees a field, they will have committed the worst violation in sports and should see their athletic department burn.
@betsandreps College Football has a share of issues, but none have attacked the foundation of sports like the Sorsby issue.
He will never play again, and rightfully so.
If Tech wants to support him, that's great. But the idea that he has a chance to play should concern everyone
