i understand the calls for rivalry bc that’s what yall are used to but walk with me here: one twin is super spiritual and chill and the other is not. the spiritual twin is the one who would be fine not being the avatar but the avatar? if his brother was it and he wasn’t, it would destroy him. i’m seeing a tale of two brothers who love each other above all else, are sometimes rivals but never enemies. and i think, more importantly, any resentment is one sided, and it comes from the avatar to his super calm and spiritual twin brother, who is everything he feels like he *should* be as the avatar, not the other way around. his adviser and best friend but with a twinge of annoyance that he feels like he has to ask in the first place
