With the impending opening of Rock 'n' Rollercoaster Starring The Muppets, let's look back at how Sunset Boukevard has changed since it opened in 1994 https://t.co/efVwljSK5Y
Since the OG Disney Sky rumour was going where Fantasy Springs opened and there isn't much space for a new park, could Disney Sky be the name for the new cruise ship?
There have been discussions that plans for Tokyo DisneySky (Tokyo Disney Resort's third gate) are back on the table.
The park would be sky and space-themed, and according to 2018 rumors, would feature franchises like STAR WARS, AVATAR, TRON, and Marvel.

@COASTERADDICTWH@altontowers Good luck. I sent an email via Guest Services and was told it was that it was part of the Terms and Conditions that rides were subject to availability, and that they were given daily MOTs to make sure they were safe. Doesn't explain why so many rides are closed at Towers though
๐ง While itโs nicely done, Guests have to look at the new Ratatouille โartist workshopโ scene in the queue through these odd windows that replace the 3D glasses distribution point:

There just isn't enough to do for anyone under 1.4m until May, so no point coming unless you have little ones for CBeebies Land that are able to wait 30mins to 1 hour for a ride, or thrill seekers who want to wait over an hour for a ride. It's not a family park anymore!
It's been 15 years since my last visit to @altontowers and I think it'll be another 15 years. Took 2 hours to do first 2 rides, despite arriving at 8.30 due to rides opening later than advertised. The lack of Katanga Canyon has been clear because it's bumped up the waits of...
Everything for those 1.4m and under, especially with the frequent rkde closures dud to temporary delays. Spinball has closed twice within the last hour, and instead if letting those who waited in between on the ride, they priorise fastrack who arrived after it went back online...
@ThemeParkWW We're at the front of the queue for the Plaza and got there at 8.30 as we didn't know about the late gate opening (only was announced the day before). Can't imagine the amount of people who thought the same
Anybody @altontowers#altontowers with guests under 1.4m, especially under 1.2m, shouldn't bother going to the left side of the park as everything under 1.4m height requirement is closed! Stop at Wickerman, and turn around. You're just wasting your legs walking without Sky Ride
@TowersStreet@altontowers Closing off the whole of Katanga Canyon is a big thing for @altontowers family market. The only major attractions for families of kids 8+ without a spooky theme are Spinball and Gangsta Granny. Everything is either a flat ride, CBeebies or thrill rides/dark spooky themed!
@COASTERADDICTWH@altontowers And Battle Galleons not opening until May too ๐. I'm not one for coasters but going with my family who are, but was hoping for a few more rides to be open that aren't rollercoasters. He one rollercoaster I can do, Runaway Mine Train, will be closed ๐
Bugbie and Battle Galleons are on there now. Runaway Mine Train, Monorail and Skyway listed as closed for Essential Maintenance and Congo River Rapids reopening in May
Alton Towers reopens this weekend for two buy out days, however a number of rides are still missing from the @altontowers App:
- Bugbie-Go-Round
- Runaway Mine Train
- Battle Galleons
- Congo River Rapids
- The Skyride
Could we see these open next week for when the park opens?
@COASTERADDICTWH@altontowers@ThemeParkWW It looks like similar for monorail too. Katanga Canyon is also one of the few areas with stuff to do for families without scary themes. In terms of coaster thrill scale, you now have a massive jump from Octonauts to Spinball Wizard/Wicker Man
