During Good Governance Week, District Administration Capital Itanagar visited two villages, Jollang and Borum, to address issues related to birth certificates, temporary and permanent residence certificates, and land documents.

10 days in service teachers training programme started from today.
The programme was inaugurated by Sang Khandu i/c @dctawang at Govt Town Secondary School,Tawang.
The resource person from #Adhyayan QualityEducationfoundation Mumbai will be imparting training to the teachers.
The DC also inspected the alternate PMGSY road through Ganga Batt, assessed the road's condition, and directed authorities to carry out necessary maintenance where required.
Following incessant rainfall in Itanagar, Deputy Commissioner Smti Shweta Nagarkoti Mehta, IAS, carried out inspection of NH-415, where landslides and mudslides had caused blockages. Manpower and machinery were immediately deployed to clear the blockades.
DC visited state highway through Ganga Lake to Batt village, where multiple landslides had occurred.PWD has engaged men & machinery to clear the debris and blockades. Although traffic is moving through that route, the DC has directed the PWD to keep on monitoring.
The DC visited Karsingsa Block point where a massive landslide had occurred, and accordingly issued a traffic advisory for the closure of the road. Traffic is being redirected through an alternative route via Gumto until further notice.
