@jtimsuggs To be honest, I found Vader's silence really dumb and frustrating. It didn't feel like a cute sylistic choice.

Almost always Vader spoke to his victims, even ones who meant nothing to him, but now all of a sudden he's dead silent? Can he please be an actual character again?

I do really like this scene. I wish we will have stuff like this on-screen but considering how people think Vader should act nowadays, I doubt it will happen.

@TheStarWarsOG I agree that not everyone is redeemable and I am not opposed to having a sad ending.

However, the writing utterly failed to convinced me that Jacen's fall was believable. It misunderstood the events of the NJO series and had most if not all characters act OOC.

If Jacen had to go bad (terrible idea but still) then it would've been more interesting if he survived and faced the consequences of his actions. It would've been a nice contrast to his grandfather who died shortly after his redemption.

@jadexskywalker What made me mad was how quickly everyone gave up on Jacen. I'm not saying they shouldn't be angry but they are so quick to deem him a lost cause.

Funnily enough it's Mara who tries to talk to him twice but the first attempt was half-assed and the other was a threat.

I don't want a Darth Vader show. I just want him to be an actual written character again. Bring in Matt Sloan or Scott Lawrence or whoever instead of using AI. Him being silent isn't some unique stylistic choice, it's a dumb limitation that is holding the story back. #starwars

Darth Vader has almost always spoken to the people he fought, even if it's trash-talk. Vader talking is the bare minimum.

@zweiwalker89607 So many times I stopped and said "That didn't happen!" and ranted to myself about it. Troy Denning made shit up about what happened in the NJO series so many times. I honestly wouldn't be surprised if he only read basic summaries of the books of NJO.

@jadexskywalker Yeah, I really didn't like this idea. Why did RTD make it so complicated? Not only does it contradict what The Doctor said in "Fear Her" but in general I just think it's just really dumb.

Not everything has to be complicated. The Doctor had a child and then later Susan happened.

@jtimsuggs Personally I'm not a fan of Vader being this strong so soon after Mustafar and him not saying a single word. I was most excited for his and Maul's interactions and we got nothing.

I am baffled how all of a sudden some people don't want Vader to have a personality. It's weird.
