I’m preparing to submit a preprint to arXiv (cs. AI) as soon as I secure an endorser.

• 525+ simulation-based configurations
• 25.5+ million total steps
• Horizons at 3k, 50k, 100k, and 200k steps
• Fully documented, auditable, and reproducible runs
The methodology is deliberately constrained:
• Frozen parameters
• No tuning
• No optimization
• No intervention after initialization

Time itself is the only variable.
This work is intentionally observational, not performance-driven:
• No benchmarks
• No claims
• No hype

The focus is on long-horizon drift, stability, and recovery behavior in adaptive systems under controlled conditions and documented for open academic review.

Giving an update on something I’ve been building quietly for a while.

For the past year I’ve been working on a local-first research framework called CAS 2.0. It’s a small system for studying drift behavior, stability patterns, and recovery responses in artificial models.

It’s not a model and not an LLM. It’s just a fully offline testing engine that applies controlled perturbations and measures how systems behave over long horizons.

A few of the questions it focuses on:

• Do outputs stay consistent under repeated inputs?
• How does behavior shift under noise?
• What does recovery look like after a drift event?
• Are there predictable “safe operating bands”?
• Can stability signatures be mapped across many seeds?

CAS 2.0 has completed a 50-seed baseline and the first major stress test (magnitude). Recovery profiles stayed stable across all runs, giving a solid foundation for the next phases (cadence + combined).

It’s slow, open, reproducible work — nothing flashy or fancy.
Just careful testing, line by line, transparent logging, and an interest in how systems behave over long horizons.
