I was Facetiming this girl while I was at the store. I got in line to pay and said, 'I'm going to put you in my pocket until I'm done.' She was like, 'Ok.' As soon as I put the phone in my pocket, this girl started screaming, 'AHHHHH, get me outta here!!!! I can't breathe!!! AHHHHHHHH!!! Bruh….
Maturing is realizing when you wake up randomly at 3am or 4am you’re supposed to pray. Over your home, over your children. Then sit and listen to what God tells you to do next
My son, 7, has discovered “deez nuts” jokes and it’s all he says now. Everything is deez nuts. He simply can’t stop.
I asked him where he heard that joke. He made me promise that if he told me, he wouldn’t get in trouble. I agreed. So he leans in and whispers, “deez nuts.”
With all the discussion surrounding Ariana Grande I just wanted to mention an experience I had that might just relate to me or maybe there are others who struggle with eating disorders & can relate. I grew up in a ballet studio so being thin was important. I can remember watching Hole’s music video for Violet & saying to my friend that Courtney was fat. I distinctly remember her body as looking fat. Now all these years later I rewatched the video & I’m like fat where? She wasn’t fat but my mind perceived her that way. Maybe that can give some insight into how an ED brain can work. At least in my case
If you're ever lost/stranded change your voicemail immediately to say where you are, who you were with, what time you arrived etc. When people notice you're missing and start calling you, the voicemail may just save your life especially if your phone goes dead or you have no service.
unpopular opinion: we shouldn’t use volunteers for war, we should draft everyone who has a domestic violence charge since they already proved they like to fight so much.
Sometimes it blows my mind that there are people that don't wear glasses/contacts. Like they can literally see with no aid. Like they wake up and just be out here seeing. What a wild concept.
