What has changed?

After completely redesigning the game and its core mechanics, introducing competitive tournaments and new systems that encourage high-frequency gameplay, we decided to launch a brand new ecosystem token.

Why?

The previous token was not designed to support the long-term vision of Snake. The new token is fully integrated with the game's tokenomics and built specifically to sustain the ecosystem.

First and foremost, this token is a tribute to Taneli Armanto, the Nokia engineer who created Snake over 30 years ago, one of the most iconic mobile games ever made and a title that helped shape the mobile gaming industry.

More importantly, the token has been designed to power the next evolution of Snake. Every mechanic is built to increase gameplay frequency, reward active players, and create sustainable long-term demand.

Why does one wallet hold 70% of the supply?

To guarantee the fairest possible migration.

Over the past month we collected the old tokens from active holders and beta testers before launching the new token. This prevented early selling during the migration and allowed us to sell the old supply in a single transaction before buying back the new supply.

The new tokens will now be redistributed wallet by wallet to every eligible holder, ensuring everyone receives the new token without unnecessary losses.

We believe this was the fairest migration method possible.
