Good morning everyone !

I was doing a bit of study yesterday night and the Lord began to open certain things to me about *THE PARABLE OF THE MARRIAGE FEAST*

Please follow me.

I’m sure many of us know this story, but if you don’t, you can check it out in *Matthew 22:1-14*

I’m not going to go over everything in the text, but I’m going to highlight some few things that stood out to me and bothered me.

First, I want us to understand that this was a parable that Jesus uses to describe what *THE KINGDOM OF GOD.*

So this is invariably a story that paints a picture exactly of what will happen in the Kingdom, told by the King of the Kingdom himself (Jesus)

First in vs 4 there was an invitation for certain folks, with a special invitation sent to them , verse 5 says “They made light of it and went their ways”

This describes a call to salvation taken for granted by the folks that it was originally meant for (this contextually is talking about the Israelites and their continued disobedience to God.)

But then in verse 9 that invitation was thrown ajar to everyone, both bad and good. We see God’s plan to reach even the gentiles… which gave everyone access to enter into the Kingdom.

“Good and Bad” - this shows God’s impartiality in his salvation call, _*it doesn’t matter who you used to be*_(hold on to this line) .. everyone was invited, everyone has been given free access to come.

But then, this is the part that bothered me… verse 11-13…

The same king that sent servants to the streets to invite any and everyone, was the same king that cast out the same people without “wedding garment” into Darkness 🙄🙄…

Hello oooooo?? You can’t embarrass me like that…. I didn’t beg to be here, your servants literally sent out an invitation.😒

You picked me up from the highway…. How am I supposed to get a wedding garment????🫠🫠 (utter nonsense!!)

What do you expect to get from someone from the high way??? A wedding robe??? Agbada and sneakers??? Gucci bag and sandals?? _Christian Dior_??😒(catch that joke here 😂)

But you see, none of these excuses mattered,

And this really resounded in my Spirit Loudly!!

Recall - it doesn’t matter who you used to be

The idea of the king is that, _*although it doesn’t matter who you used to be, it MATTERS who you are NOW!!!*_🧏🏾‍♂️🧏🏾‍♂️

As Believers, as much as it doesn’t matter what background we came from before we got into the Kingdom, it sure does matter what we become IN THE KINGDOM!!

There Must be Transformation!
There Must be a Separation from the World!!
There Must be a difference from what we used to be!!

If you’re a Thief, the Kingdom that you are in MUST change you!

There is a dress for the occasion for when Christ comes, and unless you have that wedding robe on, it wouldn’t matter even if you came in for free.

Beyond our Spirit being reignited, or our Nature being changed.

Our Souls MUST be Transformed to the Very image and the original design of God.

Beyond our tongues, and tears in worship… our attitudes, conducts, characters, behaviors, thoughts MUST also change.

If you struggle with lie, ask the Lord for help.

If you struggle with Lust, Ask the Lord for Help.

If you struggle with immoral thoughts, ask the Lord for help.

If you struggle with gossip, ask the Lord for help.

If you struggle with unforgiveness, ask the Lord for help.

Our souls are transformed by DOING what the scriptures have instructed us to.

Do you struggle with Lust, the scriptures says FLEE!!

Do you struggle with anxiety, the scriptures says take it to the Lord in prayer, supplication and thanksgiving

Do you struggle with Anger, the scriptures says it must go with the sunset.

Do you struggle with evil thoughts, the scriptures says to combat it with the word of God.
