On my flight from Delhi to Kathmandu was a group from the Isha Foundation (@ishafoundation), on their way to the Kailash Mansarovar pilgrimage. They were brimming with excitement, looking forward to the journey to Lord Shiva’s abode.
Many from that same group were on my flight back from Kathmandu. The excitement of the onward journey had given way to a deep sense of grief and anxiety. They were sombre and shaken by the tragedy that had engulfed fellow pilgrims from Isha.
Yet, amid the anguish, there was something remarkable about their resolve. Many spoke of returning — of undertaking the pilgrimage again, undeterred by the tragedy that had just unfolded.
My thoughts and prayers are with Sadhguru Jaggi Vasudev (@SadhguruJV), the entire Isha Foundation family and all those still waiting anxiously for news of their loved ones as they grapple with this terrible tragedy.
May Lord Shiva give them strength. 🙏
#WATCH | Nepal | Coordinator of Isha Sacred Walks, Maa Gambhiri says, "We are trying to obtain various permissions. We are making every effort to make this happen, but unfortunately, things are not working out. Rescue operations are underway, and we are unable to secure the necessary clearances... Obviously, Sadhguru cannot do the work that the army can, but we want to reach there... Sadhguru neither wants to travel there by plane nor accept any other form of assistance..." (29.08)
#WATCH | Nepal: On several pilgrims and volunteers of Isha Foundation's Sacred Walks (Kailash Mansarovar Yatra) missing or stranded in Nepal amid the flood situation, Maa Gambhiri, Coordinator at Isha Sacred Walks, says, "We haven't been able to establish contact yet because there was a massive flood. All communication lines are down, and we cannot reach anyone on the ground. We are just waiting to hear back from the authorities with some information... hoping to find out something by tomorrow morning."
She adds, "We have 21 groups traveling to Kailash Mansarovar this year. Many have already successfully completed their pilgrimage, while others are currently en route, and some are just about to start. This specific group had already finished their journey and was heading back to Kathmandu this morning after clearing Tibetan immigration. There were 77 pilgrims who had reached the immigration center. The group leader was named Praveen. One of our team members spoke to him at 9:05 AM. However, when we tried to contact him again ten minutes later, we couldn't get through to him or anyone else. It seems the incident occurred within those ten minutes. We had no prior information or inkling that anything was amiss; everything seemed completely normal during our conversation, and this happened quite suddenly... There was no warning, no indication; nothing was communicated. This accident happened suddenly..."

Hitjob after hitjob against Sadhguru.
After a spectacular Mahashivratri at the ashram, two certified Hinduphobes, Digvijaya Singh and Prashant Bhushan, join others in berating Isha Foundation.
A big reason: Sadhguru’s popularity spreads dharma, jolts missionary soul-harvesting.

Some people still think the Northeast is a “foreign country.”
Brother, we are so Indian that we guard the borders while you argue on X. Oh Sorry, Twitter 🫢
Racism is outdated. Time to update your software.
Europe is rethinking how we protect the ground beneath our feet.
To reach the goal of healthy soil by 2050, the European Union is developing more integrated ways to monitor land quality. Currently, the "free from degradation" approach helps track major threats like erosion and chemical sealing on a massive scale. However, researchers argue that we need to go deeper.
True soil health is about more than just avoiding damage; it is about the long term vitality and resilience of the ecosystem. By combining broad policy data with local, functional indicators, we can make better decisions for farmers and the environment alike.
Healthy soil is not just a checkbox. It is a living system that requires our constant attention and integrated care.

It is obvious Shri @pbhushan1 lacks in Intelligence & Integrity but it saddens to see there is deficit in Civilizational aspects too. A case of Trash getting to the Top. -Sg
@RahulDewanV2@SadhguruJV propagandist hiding behind the Dharma next doesn't have an iota of dharma
Jealousy, agenda & conceit.
My involvement in the Rally for River & Save Soil campaign, i have been amazed by the relentless commitment Sadhguru has, every bit of his core is devoted to BHARATH.
Endless slander campaign against @SadhguruJV by this “Dharma Next”. They have taken it upon themselves to “save Hinduism”… and seem to categorise Sadhguru among Teesta Setalvad and Islamists like Zakir Naik. Pathetic shameless people. I suspect I know the spiritual org and the specific person behind this slander — waiting to expose them. Enough is enough!
New research suggests humans may have up to 33 hidden senses, not just five.
Interesting number.
The Vedas have been talking about 33 powers governing human consciousness for thousands of years. Here is what they actually say:
The Vedic texts classify 33 Devas ( "gods") as governing forces of human experience. These 33 are not random. They are distributed across three zones of inner space:
The body (earth)
The life and breath processes (prana / atmosphere)
The higher mind (inner sky / heavens)
Eleven devas in each zone. A structured map of consciousness.
And this is not just a list. The Vedas describe a hierarchy among these devas. Some are closer to the autonomous processes of the body. Others govern sensory input and action. Others are nearer to the creative and higher thinking centres of the mind.
The Brihadaranyaka Upanishad goes even further. It names each sense organ as an independent aware entity, as if each faculty of perception has its own intelligence.
Modern neuroscience has confirmed exactly this structure: specific centres in the brain are dedicated to different cognitive tasks, and each cognitive ability operates as a whole unit. Damage one centre and you lose one specific function while everything else stays intact.
The Vedic seers mapped this same architecture through contemplation, not brain scans.
It goes deeper. The Vedas also recognized that the mind has a left-right division. And ancient yoga texts did not just describe this, they created a practice to bring harmony between the two sides of the brain.
That practice is Pranayama, specifically Nadi Shodhana, or alternate nostril breathing. It is now gaining popularity in the West as a wellness technique. But the reason Vedic practitioners were able to design such a precise practice is because they already understood the inner faculties of the mind at a level that modern science is only now catching up to.
Now, these 33 Devas may not be an exact parallel to what neuroscience is saying today. The language is different. The framework is different.
But the point is this: Vedic seers explored the inner faculties of human consciousness in extraordinary depth, thousands of years before we had MRI machines and EEG scans. Modern science is slowly arriving at what was described long ago in a different vocabulary.
The real question is not whether the Vedas got every detail right by today's standards.
The real question is: if we gave these ancient texts the same respect and serious attention that we give to modern science, how much more could we learn? How much better could we understand the mind? And how much could that understanding improve the way we live?

🧵 THREAD: Social media is having a meltdown over Isha/Sadhguru losing a "defamation case" and some even saying Isha paid a "$10M fine."
Every single viral claim about this case is wrong. Let me explain in plain English. 1/
@pbhushan1@YouTube Activist & lawyer❓ and you dont check FACTS, what a SHAME , heights of dubious Agenda.
understand you need some publicity after every MahaShivratri.
A Deity is a living Divine entity. It is only when a Deity is managed, rituals are conducted, and all other requirements are fulfilled by those who are deeply devoted to the Deity, that a temple becomes an abode of vibrance and transformation. I beseech the Prime Minister of India and all the members of Parliament to correct the anomaly of apartheid against the Hindu community in Bharat. This is not a favour but the fulfillment of fundamental rights as enshrined in our Constitution. Jai Hind. -Sg @narendramodi@PMOIndia@AmitShah@rashtrapatibhvn https://t.co/nwtvIRv7Ve
