Starting my Twitter journey with one of my fave movies, which is very close to my heart. The essence of every scene in this movie moves me.
This film is the reason I made this page.
Here's a letter I wrote to Piku, two years ago. Tap and read! https://t.co/02OwkfGdAE

Hi all,
I'm working on a story for about the latest report regarding the recent decline in work opportunities and income for many off-camera professionals in the entertainment industry, especially in #Bollywood.
Malayalam cinema had the audience. It had the noise. It delivered several blockbusters, but it didn’t have the profits. So, wrote a piece on what went wrong in the industry

Watched #eko last night and loved it. It doesn’t rush or spoon-feed the story, which I like. It will make you think till the end, because every details matters. I loved how the film keeps shifting its perspectives. Needs patience to watch this film!
Another thing I loved was how the story was built. They never directly revealed what Chandra’s powers are (I kept imagining different possibilities throughout), and they wove it brilliantly with the flashbacks. You won’t be confused at all, even if, like me, who usually get lost.
Watched #LokahChapter1: Chandra last night and absolutely loved it. I went in with too many expectations after watching the trailer, and enjoyed every bit of it. The film was running in one of the least popular cinema halls in Noida, yet it was houseful.
Of films and metaphors
As Andrei Tarkovsky said in Mirror (1975), “Our life is a metaphor, from the beginning until the end. Everything that surrounds us is a metaphor.”
So, here's the part 1!!

This whole #Ghibli trend really upset me yesterday. As a huge fan of #Miyazaki ’s work, I often revisit his films, and we all know how he feels about #AI. (1/2) #ChatGPT

Had the pleasure of sitting down with #Mrs director #AratiKadav to discuss about the film, why she felt it was essential to bring this deep-rooted story, the choices she made while making the film and much more. Read full interview here.

#TheRoshans reminded me of this qawaali, which is hands down the ULTIMATE qawaali ever sung. And when #Rafi saab entered, it took it to a whole new level.
"Grandma, you are my number one"
I just finished watching one of the best films of 2024 - #HowToMakeMillionsBeforeGrandmaDies
What a beauty of a film! Not just cinematically pleasing but it is so nuanced and heartwarming. Please watch it, currently streaming on #Netflix.
