@CloverWoodss Me neither! I'm so used to being around adults, that sometimes interacting with younger people is a challenge. I suppose I'm now old enough to say that younger generations always think they invented everything, when in reality they have existed long before they were even born
So after a long break from reading I finally went to Tomarry tag and saw three bottom Harry fics in a row and was like "yeah, that's enough AO3 for today." Back to writing then ig #tmrhp
@CloverWoodss It's definitely a younger gen thing. Or the hostility around the subject is—the strict uke/seme dynamics have existed in animanga fandoms for decades, but back then people knew how to skip over the things they didn't like instead of acting like someone just broke into their house
@CloverWoodss People can like whatever they want, but the whole internet doesn't need to tiptoe around their preferences. There is no such thing as "our space" if you're yelling in the middle of the largest town square in the world.
@CloverWoodss Oh I'm not actually miffed about anything other than attacking people on twitter for using tags that apparently are now reserved for a specific group even though they have been in different use since before twitter. My first tweet was a joke—most of my fics are bottom harry
@ZOMBU7 Spread all the screenshots you want, but while you're eyerolling at people for not following the etiquette *your* corner of the internet is used to on an international website, I hope you realise that the world is a much bigger place and fandom has been around for a long time
@ZOMBU7 I used a tag that has been used in the early 00s forums when the "eastern" tag used to be namexname. If your online circle wants to claim ship names that are not portmanteaus, leaving angry comments to other people might not be the most efficient way to do it
The only reason I am tweeting this is bc I'm bored. And I am bored bc there's nothing to read. And there's nothing to read bc there's no adequate harrymort with nsfw scenes to my liking. It's a cycle.
