@janedoeluvr44 It's a movie prop of a spaceship.
The real one looks like this, the strange shape is because a perfectly circular ring would have to be WAY bigger:
@chasmmmmmmmmmmm So then once it has become completely unreadable and may as well be compiled code that the AI spits out... is it really open source then?
And that is pretty much a guarantee to happen eventually, like how a lot of AI image generation has yellow tint due to AI learning from itself
@chasmmmmmmmmmmm I mean, a big aspect to open source is the fact that the source is human readable... and something I wonder if in this new era of AI generated code that code will over time become less and less comprehensible for a human to read, like an AI image you AI edit over and over.
@theworsturl@eurofounder Based in the EU and German name. Likely German. (so the post being in English makes no sense)
However, prostitution is legal in Germany (and the Netherlands).
@DesertArizona@BBKogan it was funded partially by massively slashing benefits and programs such as access to food programs. (the rest was via increased public debt, something that the poor also have to carry long term as benefits and programs will be cut even further to fund debt interest payments)
@EcchiKamiSama@DAKKADAKKA1 fun fact: up until and including WW2, scalping of essential goods such as food could carry the death penalty
Because scalping food during a siege will just get people killed and lead to defeat
So yeah, scalping (of essential goods) has been illegal for most of human civilization
@InternetH0F Reading up she was 18. The "minor" is because she was under 21, the legal alcohol limit in the US. Which seems that in return made having sex with her while drunk automatically rape.
@JinksWasntTaken @TuskActs I.e. in terms of gameplay mechanics FF7, 8 and 9 are still 2D games. They could be sprite based and nothing about the actual gameplay would change. It wasn't really until FF10 (or arguably even FF12) where them being 3D truly mattered for gameplay mechanics.
@JinksWasntTaken @TuskActs When transitioning to 3D Story and music DO NOT MATTER as they are "decorative" elements and could be the same regardless of the game being 2D or 3D.
ALL that matters is how well it did 3D controls, movement, level design and camera.
@Semml912@Desert_Hustle Incorrect. The disposal of WW2 bombs is paid for by the government.
However the excavation of the bomb is a private matter, the government ONLY handles defusal and removal, nothing more, nothing less. So any damage that happens is also your own problem.
@sobskull100 That's OK because other than "there is a really important sword that's also red" every Xenoblade game has a different one. 2 has the Aegis, 3 has the Sword of Origin. X (Definitive Edition in the extra chapter) has an ultra powerful Mecha run by tech from capital G God.
@Schaffrillas IIRC in lore they used to be a warrior race that took over their empire using their raw power and THEN got fat and lazy off of that.
But as slug-men their entire body is essentially a giant hulking muscle mass.
If a Hutt DOES dedicate their life to being a fighter, they are scary
@R6RiderF@Melonenman02@eurofounder Rule of thumb is:
In America being poor absolutely sucks. Being middle class is amazing
In Europe: being middle class could be MUCH better. Being poor still allows a decent quality of life.
If you're rich, you're rich, doesn't matter where you live beyond preference.
@Garbogamer006@ImmaDocktah @Bees_Hivee If I kill one person that killed multiple persons then it's still a net positive. Miss me with that "number of killers stays the same" shit.
Would you say the same if someone tried to kill you and the only way to save yourself is to use lethal force? Would you rather die?
@kiwitalkz Don't threaten me with a good time!
1. Indies that rely on investors are by definition no longer Indie games.
2. More games need to be self funded, yes it means studios need to get started making very small projects first to prove their mettle.
Less investors = more creativity.
@Idfkdudel@shinal_vivian@beyoncegarden Omega is literally the unit symbol for electric resistance, which you should have learned in Physics class.
Tilde is used fairly often with numbers when someone wants to express and approx.
Pilcrow is the only uncommon one since you only see it in like MS Word in a display mode.
