Announcement fellows Romans:
On the 18th of this month I shall be embarking on a military campaign against the Parthians.
All members of the senate expected to gather for a final conference on the 15th.

(@brutusphillipi you can bring the cake)
hi everyone, sorry for inactivity i was building the pantheon LOL! how is life in rome? anyone think the campus martius is lacking?
reply for inquiries
Been a rough few months, had to take a break to recover from the Senate meeting on March 15th (what an after party, am I right guys?)
Anyway, fun fact… I’m scared of heights. Shouldn’t be a problem though, right? Right..?
Rome basically had no navy, gets wrecked by Carthage, finds a shipwrecked Carthaginian quinquereme, reverse-engineers it plank by plank, and within a few years builds a fleet that dominates the Mediterranean.
That level of “learn it overnight and beat the experts at their own game” is absurd and totally underrated.
Just realised, I’ve been so worried about myself I forgot to check on the rest of you. @brutusphillipi, how is that arm? Cause my favourite pen is fucking broken you Sterculinum publicum!
@ilovebathhouses No, but you know what will? The fucking traffic in these parts. Officially banning heavy carts and private carriages from the city center for the first 10 hours of daylight.
I would like to confirm the rumours - yes, Februarius is going to recieve an extra day once every four years! Welcome to the “leap year”, Caesarians! Your favourite month that sees us through the purification of the Lupercalia and the Terminalia will now be extra special.
Hey Caesarians,
Check the new calendar. We’re lowcoinkenuinley out of sync with the seasons so I figured an extra VI-VII days would do the job. Welcome to your 445-day year.
