If you're still young, spend time and money investing in yourself, getting the skills and knowledge required to earn more.
The more you can earn, the more you can invest. Don't waste your youth
Happy birthday to me ๐๐
And for the first time in a long time, Iโm not just celebrating age, Iโm celebrating survival, growth, impact, and the person I fought to become. ๐ญ
Network. Network. Network. Network. Network. Network. Network. Network.
Talk to at least 1,500 quality people in a year online and offline.
That tech skill you are trying to learn doesn't come with a job. Skills open doors, but people open opportunities.
Research consistently shows that a large share of jobs, often cited around 70% to 85%, are filled through networking and referrals rather than public applications.
The more quality people you connect with, the higher your chances of getting opportunities, collaborations, and offers that never get posted online.
If you are not building relationships, you are relying purely on luck.
If you read only books and didnโt learn a skill while still in school, you made your first big mistake. But itโs not too late.
Go and start learning a skill immediately. Donโt waste even a second.
Imagine how good it will feel one day to realize that you actually became the person you kept picturing in your head. Imagine if all those dreams come true.
I can't wait fr.
Late nights.
Putting in the work
Just you + your laptop.
And still, people will say you โgot lucky.โ๐
Lol, they donโt see the hours spent experimenting, failing, and sharpening skills when nobodyโs watching.
Most people don't get it, but you have to sacrifice if you want something really bad. You need to stay focused and locked in, even when you're already ahead.
Early on, the grind is finding clients + delivering projects.
Later, the goal will be managing freedom and distractions while staying consistent.
Thatโs why you make space for deep work.
To refine your craft.
To grow your business.
To stay ahead.
Sacrifice now โ leverage later.
Looking back, youโll be glad you did.
