At what age, boss!?
It's very shameful of what is being displayed on the national TV and other media's. Let these people go and rest, stop disgracing our nation #Cameroon just because of greed and selfish interests so as to cringe to power!

I made a commitment that the situation of women and young people would be at the heart of my concerns during the next seven-year term.

@InsideEneo How can a country like Cameroon achieve economic growth!?
In the 21st century, with all forms of digitalisation and electronic means of payments, we still stand in long lines just to pay bills π.

The Constitutional Council examines 35 appeals from rejected candidates today and the public is keen on whether the institution, led by Clement Atangana, will reinstate the candidacy of frontline opposition leader Maurice Kamto, who was disqualified by ELECAM. Reports from Yaounde indicate that security has been tightened around the Constitutional Council premises and key public areas, as the government anticipates potential unrest if Kamtoβs candidacy is not restored. MMI is closely monitoring developments and will provide updates.

@MaimoWajiri 79 candidates for president at CFA 30m (USD$53k) each?! 3 takeaways:
(1) Too many Cameroonians have more ego and money than sense;
(2) Too many Cameroonians are willing to be used by others to maintain the system as is;
(3) All of the above.

The laying of the foundation stone for a new oil refinery in Kribi yesterday has cast doubt on earlier statements made by Prime Minister Joseph Dion Ngute. Speaking on May 31, 2025, during a South West CPDM elitesβ meeting in Buea, the PM dismissed reports about an imminent refinery in Kribi as mere rumors aimed at misleading the public. He reiterated the government's promise to reconstruct SONARA and said constructing a refinery in Kribi would be technically not possible.
"Anybody who tells you that it's [a new refinery] going to be done in Kribi is lying," the PM had said. "Because 80 percent of the crude comes from the backwaters of Fako and Ndian. The transport cost will be enormous if you have to take it to Kribi. So technically it is not possible,β he added. However, the Kribi refinery project has been laid bare, contradicting the PM's statement and raising more doubts about the government's willingness to reconstruct SONARA. - https://t.co/7bhJGKhjaH
However, much remains to be done. In the face of an increasingly difficult international environment, the challenges facing us are more and more pressing.
In such a situation, I cannot shirk my mission.
