Imagine a Franco-British Union under Mélenchon and Burnham. Two inclusive patriots with deep roots in working class movements.
Make it happen.
Sorry, but the Wigan-Bradford TGV line WILL be built.
@aiaiarhan@Ben_Wisden@cameronponsonby Depends if the analytics teams are given UltraEdge data ball-by-ball, if they are, then it's definitely not a stupid question.
I think the fact that leftists are doing the “I hate how funny he is” routine suggests that Trump’s 2nd term has failed, they are not genuinely worried.
Andy Burnham becomes first PM to confirm Russian interference in Brexit referendum
@campbellclaret and @RoryStewartUK's exclusive interview with @andyburnham on tomorrow's episode of Leading is out in full at midnight.
@elladorn_ Why are you so certain that ‘where the money is’ decides who consumes what, rather than people’s consumption trends deciding where the money is?
"It's been a while since we've had a wider-team curry night."
"I'll *belch* look into it."
"Shall we get the London team up this way?"
"I hate the London team. We could just not invite them."
"Or anyone else for that matter."
"Tonight?"
"That's five nights running. But go on."
Still have full confidence in Pedro Sanchez. Tenants’ rights, equitable economic growth, support for the rights of autonomous communities in Spain, standing up for irregular migrants - massively popular platform akin to Burnham’s in Britain.
The bloke’s literally a GigaChad.
@musi_lunghi The most recent Ludwig did actually have scene where some bizarre reference was made to ‘serving The Community’ and I couldn’t tell if it was David Mitchell mocking this type of language, or if it’s just everywhere now.
@musi_lunghi Burnham’s ideal Britain is explicitly ‘multicommunity’ (contrasted to e.g. multiethnic although that’s included) in which defanged posh people are a crucial part alongside other arbitrarily lionised non-ethnic groups like scousers or people who could feasibly appear in Ludwig.
@Laocailarry Some people are unfortunately just addicted to countersignalling. The use of ‘objectively’ is funny - are the arms not veiny enough or something?
Vis small boats ‘crisis’, strikes me that ‘dinghy’ is quite a sweet word. What if we started calling migrants ‘dinghy bits’? Could take some heat out of the issue.
@Stsantek You are aware that pensions have increased based on earnings growth for the last 3 years, in large part due to the Labour government’s spending on public sector salaries?
