Oh here we go again. @YorkshireWater claiming they are "INVESTING" £8.3 billion between 2025 - 2030.
That of course turns out to be completely untrue.
The only money I can see that shareholders are putting into the business is paying back the "loan" they took, by March 2027 and the £100 million they were supposed to pay to help reduce sewage dumping by the end of March 2025.
Every other damned penny of that £8.3 billion, that's £8.2 billion is being funded directly out of bill payers' pockets and not a damned thing to do with shareholders.
Why are water companies allowed to tell such utter lies?
Ofwat?
Unfortunately nobody from Reform UK was available to go on Question Time today due to us all being in hiding from awkward questions, like “did you accept £1million to throw an election” or “why did you say you weren’t standing for Parliament then change your mind after being given £5 million” or “why did you try to hide a £5 million gift” or “what did the crypto billionaire get in return for his gift” or “did you use it to buy the £1.4m house you purchased for cash just afterwards” or “was it used to buy the £885,000 house that you said you bought, then said your girlfriend who couldn’t afford it bought”..?

@zatzi@RobHart13767779 Comparing the number of votes received in a first past the post parliamentary system with a 50/50 yes no vote is a lot of tosh - and you know this. Another substance-less soundbite 👏
Reform UK told the BBC that he paid in cash for his £1.4m house in Surrey with his “I’m a Celebrity” fee from ITV and not with the £5m gift from crypto billionaire Christopher Harborne - which Farage says was to provide him with security (physical, not financial). But the ITV “Celeb” fee was £1.5m, which would be £825,000 after tax, for a top-rate taxpayer like Farage. That’s £575,000 less than the price of the house.
And even if the fee was paid into his “Thorn in the side” media company rather than directly to him, it would still be taxable, one way or another
Hi Russell, considering I am the only Labour Councillor on the authority and I was not at the induction (as I have been here 9 years), this is a complete lie and a breach of standards @reformexposed
TV presenter to Farage
"You promised local council tax cuts"
"I never said that"
"Here is a film of you saying it"
"I never said that"
"The film clearly shows you saying it"
"Can we move on now?"
"Here is one of your leaflets where you say it"
"Next question"

Nigel Farage has committed prosecutable election offences with this video under the Representation of the People Act 1983.
The Act prohibits inducing voters through the threat of “temporal injury”, which includes material disadvantage such as the targeted imposition of government burdens.
Threatening to specifically house illegal migrants in a constituency if it does not vote Reform is coercive and constitutes a criminal offence.
Reform UK Scotland has unveiled new election van adverts featuring an image of a small boat with asylum seekers on board.
Worth noting Scotland has had no known small boat landings.

Spoke to my family today - all refused to talk to you.
You then started hunting down random "anon" relatives.
People are holding your shit rag accountable.
You've not just "touched a nerve."
You've absolutely spurred on a movement ready to take on the Daily Mail. Congrats.
@KemiBadenoch, I filled up my car today - I paid 149.9p per litre thanks to the war you backed.
A month ago I was paying 130.7p
But, back in 2022, when you were in power, I was paying over 180p a litre and then, you didn't even consider removing VAT from fuel.
You didn't then because you knew it would devastate the UK treasury.
You're advocating it now for the same reason.

Hannah Spencer represents everything Nigel Farage professes to support. She's working class. She's white. She's British.
So why does Farage hate her? Because she exposes him for the billionaire-funded, race-baiting, anti-working class fraud he is.
