This morning, Cathaoirleach Melanie Corrigan, Chief Executive Emer O'Gorman, District Manager Leonora Earls, and Cllr. Pat Kennedy unveiled a memorial plaque at the Michael Dwyer 200 event.

The beautiful plaque was designed by Bianca Divito, who is also featured in the photos from today's event.

The ceremony included guest speakers Dr. Ruan O’Donnell (University of Limerick, Author), Carmel O’Toole (Author & Historian, Glenmalure Resident), Dr. Joan Kavanagh (Author & Historian), and Dr. Perry McIntyre (Australian Historian and Author).

The event was held in the presence of Michael Dwyer's descendants, Geoff Sims and Kathy Sims Blake.
