That's where an interim agreement comes in, trying something out to see how it works, making amendments later.
Learn top tips on what to include in your first plan so it will work best for you.

Storm Clouds Looming?
You've been thinking about leaving this marriage for a long time now... has it really been a few years that have gone by?
But you've stayed because of the children.
It seems to get harder each year. You've tried your best to keep it all together. You've even looked into getting couples or marriage counseling.
You wonder... if you leave, how will you figure out parenting arrangements?
What's really the best plan for your children, for you, for your finances, for your career?
Sometimes, you just can't have all the answers.
Sometimes, you need to trial things first. Then modify, tweak, adjust until they feel right, or at least work smoother. And sometimes, you all just need to adjust to new routines and habits, until they eventually become the new normal.
Welcome to the Interim Parenting Agreement. When things haven't worked out, and you're not yet sure what's best right now, and maybe one parent has to move out or move on, trialing a parenting plan for a while to see what's working best, before you formalize it in a legal agreement, can be the right choice.
So, what exactly is a parenting plan and a parenting agreement anyway? How does one go about doing this the right way?
Join me for a free webinar, where I'll take you through top tips to help you on the road to building your own, unique, personalized parenting plan that will work best for you, your children, your career, your finances... your new lives.
Sure, what else would you be doing during a storm anyway?

Taking some well- deserved 'me time' to read a book by the fireplace at the beautiful Powerscourt Hotel in Wicklow this afternoon, celebrating landing a big contract. 🥳
I don't have a fireplace at home at the moment- installing one again next year- so I take myself out to beautiful settings with fireplaces instead.
A good place to finally catch up on social media!

Autumn is my favourite time of year. My 🐕 dog, Sunny Bunny loves it too.
What freedom will your new life bring, after this deep change you're going through? 🍂
What, exactly, are you running towards? 🚶♀️
Autumn is a great time to do a strategic reset on your life, take time to review the year, start to think what the new year will bring. 🍃
I'm in the midst of a wonderfully therapeutic strategic reset right now, in my life and business. 🤔
I'd love to pass on all the wisdom I've learnt. 💡

Managing the finances is often the key discussion topic in my Family Mediation and Divorce Coaching sessions.
Everyone wants security and safety per Maslows Hierarchy of Needs. Talking through the fear, managing the emotions, making a clear plan that makes sense, getting through this.
I'm glad this topic is getting the coverage it needs, thanks Keith Walsh

Why are so many women choosing to divorce later in their lives?
The following slide show gives a few interesting reasons:
-Financial independence, and seeking adventure once the children have left home (empty nest)
-Loneliness within the marriage, and not willing to stay lonely.
-Dating sites make meeting someone else easier
-Social media and joining other communities outside their own, where they see people living in other ways.
-Awareness through these communities that the life they had been living was not a happy one, and seeking something different.
-Less social stigma against divorced women.
Overall, age 60 is now being seen as a new start for many women- with a focus on their health, and living their best life now that any children have grown up, they are seeking a partner who is emotionally connected to them and with whom they want to share this new stage of their lives with.
Often that emotional connection is no longer there, and there is loneliness within the marriage. They want a partner who can share in the adventure of this fun, free, new stage in their lives.
If their husband can join them in this, if there is a way to rebuild that connection, or even if the woman is willing to stay in the marriage while seeking the companionship and adventure through friends, the marriage can still work.
Couples need to sit down and discuss this and work out a new, fun, plan together and get the support they need to reconnect and enjoy companionship in this new stage in their lives.

I hope this message reaches the right ears and offers some support to many. It's a fascinating area I've been in for over 4 years, and I continue to add new layers of training and learning to support clients who are going through a lot of emotional pain and just want to get through it quickly, as painlessly as possible and move forward in their lives while making it as easy as possible on their children and financial future.

Delighted with the write up in the Dublin Solicitors Bar Association publication' The Parchment'- which explains the benefits of family solicitors working side by side with a Divorce Coach, as a way of explaining what a Divorce Coach is and why they should work with us- Divorce Coaching is still very new in Ireland so I am continuing to try to get the message out, and this is a big win by going straight to industry. The article is in the current Autumn edition on p38-39.

How do you manage big life changes? Look at what you can control, let go of the rest. In autumn trees let go of what they no longer need. They hold on to just what they need to rest and recoup over the winter, and come back blooming in the spring. Let go of what no longer serves you. Recoup and rest over the winter, take time for you. So you can come back blooming during spring.

Dad's matter for their kids as much as their mothers. Dad's need to feel needed as much as mothers do.
There is an eight old increase in suicide in divorced men because they don't feel needed.
The below podcast dives into the growing need for men to find their identity in a changing world. This matters for men, women and children- it matters for relationships, for family, for co- parenting, and for society as a whole.
