Seeking Justice for Gold Medal Recognition at MBM University
Respected @KalrajMishra Sir,
Greetings for the day!
I hope this message finds you well. I am Shailesh Kumar Khanchandani, a dedicated student of the Master of Engineering program in Computer Science at MBM University. Despite the challenges posed by delayed academic sessions, I have consistently excelled and emerged as the topper of my batch.
However, to my dismay, I have not been included in the list of candidates eligible for the gold medal at our forthcoming convocation ceremony on July 12, 2024. This exclusion seems to be an oversight resulting from the delayed start and completion of my degree program.
The Hon'ble High Court of Judicature for Rajasthan at Jodhpur, in a similar case (SB Civil Writ Petition No. 12942/2016), has set a precedent by directing the awarding of the gold medal to a deserving student. In light of this, I have formally requested the university to reconsider my eligibility and rectify this oversight.
I have shared my concern with the Hon'ble Vice Chancellor sir, Dean ma,am, and COE sir, and have attached all relevant documents, including my marksheets and the court's order, in my formal communication to them.
I am sharing this to seek support and raise awareness about the importance of fair recognition of academic achievements. I hope for a favorable resolution that acknowledges my hard work and dedication.
