I cannot believe CUPE is turning down a 4 percent raise!They have now filed notice of a strike starting Monday. They already have a 120 day sick bank. They are not facing any layoffs or salary cuts. They are just being greedy and do not care about students.

@ColinDMello I teach in the public education system. CUPE had options like work to rule or rotating strikes. CUPE does not care about kids. 11.7% increase in pay will fuel inflation since government is forced to spend more. Then everyone suffers.

I am against the CUPE illegal strike and agree with Ford government. CUPE could have done work to rule or rotating strikes.

CUPE does not care about the law or the students. They could have started with work to rule or rotating strikes. CUPE leadership is too radical.
