1/5 The bet behind SQD Network is that “chain data” is the first workload, not the end state. The real asset isn’t a curated dataset — it’s a decentralized worker network optimized for high-throughput retrieval: bandwidth, parallelism, and an open query surface.
@botanix Huge respect and thanks for a sincere self-reflection, a lot to be learned here for the whole space. Most projects would just slow bleed. Good luck with whatever comes next!
@wtgowers Some 2 cents -- I believe the very first result was by ChatGPT 5.5 Pro + human prompts, but it was ugly and worked only over C. It was then multiple human iterations that introduced the idea of using units (vs prime splitting) and made the proof work over R. /Dima Zhelezov
@StewartalsopIII@CaptainMerasses@doxometrist to be fair it works both ways -- perfect tense vs present/past simple tense in English is pretty alien to Russians for the same reason (we simply don't have this separation, the verb itself does the trick). I believe slav folks confuse it a lot learning English
@StewartalsopIII@CaptainMerasses@doxometrist I speak Russian and tbh every time I think that the tense is embedded in the verb itself I'm like "holy shit, good luck learning it as a foreigner". The closest in English is maybe phrasal verbs (?) like look/look forward. No logic here, you just learn it at some point.
A remarkable paper appeared on arXiv tonight by Thomas Bloom, Will Sawin, Carl Schildkraut and Dmitrii Zhelezov. In this paper, they prove that there exists c>0 and arbitrarily large finite sets A of real numbers such that max(|A+A|,|AA|)≤|A|^{2-c}. This disproves the well-known sum-product conjecture over the real numbers. The sum-product conjecture considers the two most basic operations: addition and multiplication. A+A is the set of all pairwise sums of two elements in A while AA is the set of all pairwise products of two elements in A. (1/5)
AI agent usage on SQD Portal is up ~200% in recent weeks.
A dev from our community chat was scraping a wallet UI with Hermes. Mid-task, DeepSeek reasoned its way out of it:
"I can use SQD Portal's Hyperliquid fills data directly — much more complete than scraping a UI with infinite scroll."
No prompt engineering. The model just chose the better and faster path.
This is the loop we wanted: Agents pick SQD because it's faster → devs see agents picking SQD → devs ship faster → more agents pick SQD
The picks-and-shovels moment for AI x onchain is here.
Our engineer DK took SQD to Slovak University of Technology today!
DK walked the @fiitstu students through what SQD Network is, why indexers matter, how we differ from the field.
The room got technical fast during the Q&A. Next generation of Web3 builders looking sharp!
@NastushaRainbow Томас Пикетти, но там все 900 страниц можно не читать, все сводится к «доходность капитала выше доходности труда» что собственно и есть оплот капитализма
