After losing the refinery responsible for 40% of the city's fuel supplies, the gasoline situation in Moscow continues to spiral, with Moscovites comparing the hours-long fuel lines to the sausage lines of the USSR.
@b_dizzy Buttons, knobs, and switches are simply more effective because you don't have to look at them after enough driving to get familiar with them. It's just good human interface design.
This is not The Onion. This is not AI. This is not even Idiocracy.
This...is John Cafaro, the guy who got the no-bid contract to re-do the defecting pool's circulation and filtering system.
He's Trump's Florida neighbor, he's a Trump donor, and he's been linked to bribery scandals.
The name of his company? Greenwater Services.

If your art is AI, I won’t admire it. If your song is AI, I won’t listen. If your book cover is AI, I won’t read it. If your gig flyer is AI, I won’t go. If your ad is AI, I won’t buy. If your profile picture is AI, we can’t be friends.
The future is human, not AI.

With $300 billion, we could end homelessness, fund cancer research for 40 years, and give every child free pre-K for over 7 years. Instead, Trump is sending it to Iran. This is not America First. Not even close.
What sucks is that life could be so easy. So easy. There are enough resources to end world hunger, homelessness, and poverty. We could slow down and fairly utilize and distribute them. Instead, everyone suffers while 20 men control half the world’s wealth.
This agreement is far worse than I expected. To reopen the strait— a strait that was open before the war— we and our partners are transferring billions to the autocrats. We get nothing else— no elimination of enriched uranium, missiles, or terrorist support. And to add one final gift, we agree to not help the Iranian people pursue their democratic aspirations. Just incredible.
