@nationalrailenq@northernassist Looking to get a train from Horsforth to Harrogate on Sunday. Is there rail replacement or not? The journey planner suggests there is, but the announcement suggests there are trains running between Horsforth and Harrogate. Could you clarify? Thanks
@AndrewBadger_@holland_tom Nothing to do with Christian Moral assumptions. Christians have been just as bad and parts of the bible are grotesque
We think it’s wrong because of secular thinking and sober discussion. Treating women and gay ppl equally, being kind to animals etc. are all new and not in bible
@thetrainline So I’m booking a train from Newcastle to Leeds 09/12/23. If I book the train at 21:49 you suggest it will be £65:40, with a change at York. But If I buy 2 singles( Newc>York + York >Leeds) it’s £25 for the same trains.
This allowed? @railandroad@transportgovuk
@brazilent@KarlHannant@Craigohbryn@PaoloCraviolat1@dwnews Sorry was just having a joke. But yeh, you can’t see which MEP’s voted for her, it’s a secret ballot. MEP’s vote for/against her, but it’s not really democratic if is secretive and there’s only one option. Usually more than one choice in a democracy.
@ClarineJHall@Hot_coals@fredsirieix1 Because you elect the UK Parliament and your local council. Though the elected EU Parliament votes on laws it doesn’t draft or make them. That is done by the commission and you can’t vote for or against them. Think like Boris doing shit during covid, and you can’t vote him out.
@WildBurdwumman@TeeDixie To be fair. Scotland generally votes for the SNP, so your never going to get a UK government you vote for. Your vote is worth the same as anyone in England, like me, who voters Labour. But that’s democracy.
